    • This guide is designed to help state and local tobacco control staff who want to work to improve tobacco cessation coverage for their state’s Medicaid population. As you initiate conversations with your state Medicaid office, it is important for you to equip yourself with knowledge to help you make the case to improve coverage.

    • These state-specific tobacco cessation Medicaid coverage factsheets show state Medicaid coverage of cessation treatments from 2020 to 2022.
