George Washington University (GW) Cancer Institute Released Two New Toolkits

The CDC is pleased to announce two new comprehensive cancer control resources.  Through funding from CDC, the George Washington University (GW) Cancer Institute developed and released two new tool kits.

1) Advancing the field of Cancer Patient Navigation Toolkit will guide tribes in advancing patient navigation.  We hope you will use this resource to:

a) Educate and train patient navigators

b) Provide technical assistance to members of your coalition

c) Build navigation networks at the tribe level

d) Identify policy approaches to sustain patient navigation

2) World Cancer Day Social Media Toolkit will help public health professionals design a media strategy built around Cancer Prevention Month and World Cancer Day (Thursday, February 4, 2016).  We hope you will use this resource to promote cancer prevention strategies through social media outlets.
