Join the National Center of Excellence for Tobacco-Free Recovery (CoE-TFR) to explore the role peer support specialists and peer recovery coaches play in addressing commercial tobacco use among clients with behavioral health conditions. During this 60-minute webinar, you’ll hear directly from staff working in behavioral health and recovery settings and discuss how they’ve approached trying to normalize addressing tobacco use as part of a peer’s role in supporting individuals with behavioral health conditions on their recovery journey.
As a result of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Describe the role of a peer support specialist/peer recovery coach in a behavioral health setting
- Explore the evidence and importance of integrating peer-driven support services as part of a coordinated system of care to support people on their quit journey
