Kris Rhodes of AICAF meets with Michael Patterson of CDC TIPS Campaign at ATCA Summit

Michael Patterson, Alaska Native, Tlingit, from Juneau, Alaska, formerly featured in one of the CDC TIPS from Former Smokers campaign presented a personal gift to Kris Rhodes, MPH, CEO of American Indian Cancer Foundation.  The gift was an Alaska Native made necklace at the Alaska Tobacco Control Alliance (ATCA) Summit in Anchorage, Alaska on Saturday, April 29, 2017.

Michael said “it is always an honor to meet a fellow native sister or brother.  It is interesting to hear about first nations people across the United States.”
