New NYTS 2022 Infographic Available

FDA has published a new infographic highlighting the key findings from the 2022 National Youth Tobacco Survey (NYTS).  In 2022, more than 3 million middle and high school students currently used (past 30 days) any tobacco products.  While we have made great progress in reducing the number of youth who use combustible cigarettes, youth e-cigarettes use remains a public health concern.  E-cigarettes have been the most commonly used tobacco product among youth since 2014.

Additional information on 2022 NYTS results can be found on FDA’s website.  Free digital and print resources are available from the Tobacco Education Resource Library (TERL).  the TERL offers curated content for audiences like health care professionals and public health practitioners and is home to the Vaping Prevention and Education Resource Center.
