Peace Love Art: Indigenous Collective
Peace Love Art: Indigenous Collective is an initiative led by Dream Catcher Foundation to promote and support emerging and established Indigenous artists, as well as charities that focus on a range of indigenous causes throughout North America.
The auction will be hosted online the month of November 2022 (National American Indian Heritage Month). It is important to understand that we are NOT asking artists to donate their work to this auction; instead, artists will receive 50 percent of each sale and (rather than a private gallery keeping the rest) all of the remaining half will be going to charities that are being selected by members of the Dream Catcher Council and other Indigenous Influencers.
Our growing roster of Dream Catcher Council members and Influencers includes Eugene Brave Rock(Blackfoot), Ashley Callingbull (Cree), Sarain Fox (Anishinaabe), James “Notorious Cree” Jones (Cree), Lauren Schad (Lakota), Lyle Thompson (Onondaga), Cody Coyote (Ojibwe) Neilson Powless (Cherokee & Oneida), Alyssa Wapanatâhk (Cree), Brandon Bailey (Chickasaw), Michael Linklater (Cree), and Dream Catcher Foundation leaders Eli Ankou (Ojibwe) and Shayna Powless (Oneida). These (and additional being added) influencers are tasked with selecting indigenous charities to support while also promoting the artists and art auction through their personal social media platforms.
