Request for Concepts: Community-Based Interventions to Address Health Disparities for Indigenous Lung Cancer Patients by the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation
The Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation is issuing a special request for concepts (RFC) focused on addressing lung cancer care disparities for Indigenous communities (including, but not limited to, American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and Native Pacific Islanders). We are currently seeking concepts for ideas for multiyear grants that pilot/test innovative models of community-based care to increase access to services and improve lung cancer outcomes across the lung cancer care continuum (including early detection, diagnosis, palliative care, and survivorship).
The deadline for concept submission is September 29, 2023. Concept submissions should not exceed a maximum of 3 pages. Selected applications will be notified and invited to a full grant application process by the end of October 2023. Please feel free to forward this email to any colleagues or peers that may have an interest in this work. See the attached RFC for more details and direct any additional questions to Mason Chiang (mason.chiang@bms.com) or Catharine Grimes (catharine.grimes@bms.com). We thank you for considering this request for concepts and look forward to reviewing any proposals you may bring forward.
