California Indian Tobacco Education (a program of CRIHB) will be sponsoring a webinar with the California Smokers Helpline, “Understanding the California Smokers Helpline.”  Many smokers think they have to quit the moment that they call the Helpline, so they do not call.  This webinar will help clinic personnel and tribal services better understand what happens when a person calls the Helpline, how it works, and how to make a referral.  It will help to better able to explain the Helpline to patients and tribal member swhen they are ready to quit.

The webinar is Tuesday, May 17, 1 – 2 p.m.
