Addressing Social Determinants of Health: Building Partnerships to Improve Tobacco-related Outcomes

March 28, 2023
1 – 2 pm ET

The social determinants of health (SDOH) have an impact on the health of communities and on tobacco control efforts.  It is critical to identify and engage partners that are working to address SDOH to successfully deliver tobacco use prevention and control policies and programs.

SelfMade Health Network and Emory University’s Specialized Training and Technical Assistance Resource Hub will present a webinar about prioritizing social determinants of health.  Webinar attendees will learn why it is important to prioritize SDOH in programming and partnership efforts, hear a case study illustrating real world application of the concepts, and identify proactive steps they can take to crate strategic partnerships.
