Great American Smokeout Cigarette Butt Pickup Downtown Wrangell

The Wrangell High School Cheerleaders assisted Tammi Meissner, Wrangell SEARHC Health Promotion, with picking up cigarette butts, on main street of downtown Wrangell on 11/5/2019 in celebration of this year’s Great American Smokeout held nationally on the third Thursday of each November.  GASO falls on November 21 this year.  13.4 pounds of butts were picked up by the group.
