NCCCP 20th Anniversary Event
September 10-11, 2018
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) invites comprehensive cancer control (CCC) program directors and one other staff or coalition member to the 20th Anniversary Commemoration and National Comprehensive Cancer Control (NCCCP) business meeting in Atlanta in September.

Monday, September 10, 1 – 5 PM, EDT (CDC Chamblee Campus)
Tuesday, September 11, 9 – 11:30 AM, EDT (CDC Royal Campus)
NCCCP awardees will join CDC staff and partners in various working sessions to enhance their capacity to implement program work plans, including:
- Policy, systems, and environmental interventions
- Health equity
- Communications strategies
- Program Director orientation/refresh for new and experienced CCC Program Directors

This will be an afternoon of reflection and celebration commemorating the National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program’s 20 years of success and growth. Hear from and interact with former and current awardees, partners, and CDC staff who built the program, expanded its reach, and who are moving comprehensive cancer control forward.

A block of hotel rooms has been reserved at the Atlanta Marriott Century Center, and transportation will be provided between the hotel and both CDC campuses. Room reservations should be made by August 21 at 5 PM EDT under the “CDC National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program” room block to receive the government room rate of $166 per night.
