GW Cancer Center released a new FREE online training on sexual health and cancer survivorship.

The development of this training was supported by the Cooperative Agreement #5Nu58DP006461 from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of the CDC.  The GW Cancer Center would like to thank the CDC for their ongoing collaboration on this program.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe how different cancer treatments can affect sexual health.
  • Identify tools for sexual health evaluation in cancer patients.
  • Describe strategies to mitigate cancer treatment-related sexual health issues.

The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences designates this activity for a maximum of 0.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).

Nurses

This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by Maryland Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.  Upon training completion, you will be awarded 1.0 continuing education credits, after passing a quiz with a score of 75% or better and completing the course evaluation form.
