  • Background on the development of protocol of the American Indian Commercial Tobacco Program (AICTP) on the Quitlink.
  • The difference between the AICTP and the Michigan Tobacco Quitlink program.
  • Types of referral mechanisms available for providers on the Michigan Quitlink/AICTP page and timing of provider feedback.
  • A walk-through of the Native American caller’s experience on the AICTP.
  • Information on free NRT available to Native Americans who enroll in AICTP or the Quitlink.

Target audience:

Physicians, nurses, health educators, administrators, and support staff working with American Indian and/or Alaska Native populations.
