Learning Objectives/Outcomes:
At the conclusion of this activity, the healthcare team will be able to:
1. Apply evidence-based approaches for screening and counseling patients to quit commercial tobacco use.
2. Integrate evidence-based approaches to assist and support patients to quit commercial tobacco use and achieve GPRA benchmark measures.
3. Implement culturally appropriate approaches to identify and eliminate health disparities related to commercial tobacco and cancer.
Target Audience:
Physicians, nurses, health educators, administrators, and support staff working with American Indian and/or Alaska Native communities.
