National Native Network partners to present with Native American Lifelines and National Council for Urban Indian Health

We discussed ways to use traditional tobacco within our urban clinics to center cultural teachings in our centers and ways to increase access to traditional tobacco in the heart of urban Indian communities.
Joshua Hudson from the National Native Network talked about the health benefits and policy considerations. Kerry Hawk Lessard from Native American Lifelines talked about programming experiences and ideas that urban clinics could implement.
As a part of the presentation, supplies were provided for participants to make their own tobacco ties.
Miigwetch (thank you) to Native American Lifelines and National Council for Urban Indian Health.
